On September 3, 1999, my brother called and said that a good friend, Terry Barbee, from the Rio Grand Valley where we grew up, wanted to come see the Wing fly.   Terry’s father, Joe Barbee had given me my first airplane ride that I could remember.  He also let me fly the super cub.   Boy was I hooked.

Terry has flown Pitts, Huskey, A36, and many other powered aircraft.  He admitted to me that there were a bunch of nerves involved in placing his butt in this plane without an engine.  Especially with LLOYD at the controls.

Denise, are you sure he has a pilot license to fly this thing.  I think I'll take along my Scotch in this water bottle!
