Thank you, for your thoughts, Mr. Moran.
I will be requesting that all of Council do a site tour of Matt's property for an in depth understanding of what he is up to.
I last visited the property a few years ago, and was very supportive of his efforts at the time. It is time for an update, and if there are issues that need compromise, I'm sure they will be identified.
Thanks again,
Mark Taylor

I have been reading about Matthew Redsell, one of your residents in Port Burwell.

I find it absolutely shameful that you would allow your regional bylaws officer to continue to waste his time and taxpayers' dollars by harassing Mr. Redsell repeatedly.

I have in fact learned a lot about sustainable living from leaders like Mr. Redsell and have been implementing some of his ideas at my own home in Maryhill Ontario.

Matt has made clear to me that we as Canadians have to learn to reduce our dependence on store-bought fossil-fuel backed food and products.

I challenge you to argue this fact.

I am implementing changes in my own life for the benefit of my children and their future.

You have a true leader in your community, who could help your township become a leader amongst communities in Ontario.

I submit that Matthew is capable of transforming Port Burwell into a sustainable and environmental learning centre, and an example of what can be done when a community bands together to prepare for the future.

Instead you allow your bylaws officer to harass him, hiding behind antiquated and near-sighted guidelines that carry no value or thought of future issues.

I find this unconscionable.

I urge you to consider the real value of having a visionary leader like Matthew in your region, and work WITH him instead of against him.

It sickens me that an area that could dearly use some community-built vitality is so bent on enforcing useless and out-dated rules.

Please see the light and put it to use, for the benefit of the children and all othersin your riding.
