Feb 20, 2008 The river jammed up with ice on an early morning
Dusky climbing the ladder to check out the solar cells!
That is one scary ice jam that flooded the river banks.

Dec. 16, 2007 -The windmill tower awaiting the windmill
The new place .. lots of buildings.. and that barn on the left(large garage doors too) is 80 ft. x 40 with a 20 ft. ceiling..... and its full of junk already!!
And this is what it is like on a hot summer day just down at the end of my street. Shallow waters and slightly cloudy as the clay is mixed with the waves- but very refreshing to pop down at mid day... or late evening or both
View of the beach in winter
This is a most beautiful church.
Early spring. One can see the old light house and part of the pier that goes out into the lake. At one time there were large freighters coming to supply coal to parts of Ontario. Now the harbour is silted up and even small power boats have difficulty getting in and out.

Winter of 2005

This is where it all began. I purchased this building with no sewer, no water and I cut off the electricity since I the motorhome had solar cells and a generator.
