One of Mats pear trees. Mat said "They look terrible, but they taste delicious !!" |

An apple. Mat actually has a apple tree with both red AND green apples, the reason for that being that the root of this tree is a wild apple tree root, which is easy to grow, and he keeps grafting different apples onto the tree. Near the base of the tree it spits off into two sections and the left side is red apples, and the right is green. |

Mats peach tree is now loaded with bigger peaches. All these peaches are hard on the tree , so there is some boards to help hold up the heavily loaded branches. |

Here is one of the peaches. They are still quite firm and not fully ready. |

Mats cherry tree has lots of ripe cherrys. I put this photo on because i thought it kinda looked neat seeing the peaches in the middle. |

Its that time of year again ,when fruit begin to grow on trees. Here are the little cherrys from the cherry tree. |

The peach tree here at mats, is doing well , with the little peaches on the tree slowly growing bigger, and bigger till harvest this summer. |

Remember those tree grafting mat did? no? Well , with grafting you take a small twig from a tree (in this case, a fruit tree) then slit a larger limb of a tree (in this case ,another fruit tree)that you are going to put it into . Mat puts mud on the twig , then wraps it in rope that will disintagtate .You do grafting because some types of trees get diseases easier than some .so grafting on those that are disease resistant save planting a whole new tree. Alot of the twigs we grafted have budded and now have leaves , but a few did not make it. This one seen in the picture to the left, worked really well.
