Here's the lid , we had to place a thin sheet of wood over the insulation and we used some twine and wire (as a heavier duty needle and thread ) and drilled 6 holes in the top and weaved the twine through because the glue wasn't really stong enough and we just wanted to make sure it stayed on. |

The hay box that were working on. Hay Boxes save alot of energy by heating a pot too boiling , then taking it off the element and put it into the hay box to cook . This Hay Box is a small box that sits inside a large box . Between all the sides of this small box will have 4" of insulation including the top and bottom.. When it is finished it will also have a lid ofcourse to hold in the heat .. |

We have now made all the sides which are now assembled and the insulation is cut for the top and bottom . All theres left to do is the insulation on the sides and the lid. |
