Cycling:Return to sustainability menu
There is nothing more satisfying to me than to be out cycling! as a teenager I cycled everywhere... then it was a car and motorcycles but when at university it was a bicycle again.. then back to motorcycles and cars but in the last 10 years I have done a lot more cycling. Sean Grantham has helped me progess to a much more efficient bicycle and has helped in getting my equipment so that long rides are easier. Anyone wanting to cycle around Port Burwell will be rewarded with flat paved roads with very little traffic...... and free rooms at my place for the 2008 season.
Starting May 2008 Mat's Home will be a cycling Hostel for interested in sustainable living and day trips to others invovled in sustainable living and related fields of study.

August 16, 2008 I have really enjoyed cycling in the Port burwell area. I regularly cycle to Aylmer each saturday and today I did a longer ride covering about 100 km, I did all my shopping at the amish veggie stands and enjoyed every minute of the ride. I hope to go to Mexico for a month long tour.. so I had better get in shape! |
